The flight will last for 40 minutes.

Pompeii was a Roman city that was completely buried by ash, mud, and lava flows due to the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD.

Thanks to the helicopter tour, you will explore the extent of this area, fully revealed by the excavations of King Charles of Bourbon in 1748. These works were crucial because they uncovered ancient buildings, such as neighborhoods or luxurious houses, where most of the frescoes are still preserved. Today, the entire archaeological site is part of the UNESCO World Heritage.

Additionally, the volcano also destroyed other cities like Herculaneum, Oplontis, and Stabiae.

Currently, Mount Vesuvius is a National Park known for its rich biodiversity. It is a natural masterpiece: from the helicopter, you will see the true summit of the volcano and its crater. You will admire the summit of Mount Somma (1133 meters) and the cone of Vesuvius (1281 meters); both are separated by a valley called the "Valle del Gigante."
